Charles Dean Pierson
Charles Dean Pierson is the Editor and Publisher of The Unimaginable Life. He was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin; and he was raised in Manitowoc and Wausau, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1980 with a degree in Business Administration. He has an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Norwich University (1986) and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo (2000). He has worked in the mental health field as a counselor and psychologist since 1986. He founded the blog Brilliant Politics in 2007 and covered the 2008 presidential election as a part-time reporter, photographer, and editor. He periodically writes commentaries on politics and culture, which have been broadcast on public radio, WBFO, in Buffalo, New York. He is working on a book, Brilliant Politics: Barack Obama and the 2008 Campaign for President, about his experience as a blogger on the campaign trail.
